  • So the Tuesday after the headlight went out, i bought a new bulb and put it in, and it fixed it.  But now, just tonight, the spedometer went out, which kinda sucks, for obvious reasons. My helmet finally came in though, pretty sweet. Here's a picture of it:

And this is a picture of my dream bike:

    BOOOO!!!

Last Tuesday, a very sad thing happened. The headlight on The Beast went out. that means that it is no longer rideable, because motorcycles have to have a headlight, even in the daytime. So I'm gonna call today to see if i can order one, and how much it'll cost. All this makes me quite unhappy. Everytime I see a motorcycle I get jealous, because I know that could've been me. But, one good thing did happen: I ordered my very own helmet, no more using my Mom's 20 yr old helmet as of tomorrow at the latest. So, if you see a guy wearing a helmet and gloves while driving his truck, that's me having a case of motorcycle envy. Until next  time....

    WOOHOOOOO!!!!

As of Friday, the Beast (motorcycle) is all ready for me to ride.  Got it inspected and registered, the only not totally legal thing is that im not on the insurance, but the great thing about the Beast is that its like a minivan, an excellent cloaking device. No one really expects to see a 21 year-old touring bike speeding down the road. I'm not saying that i haven't sped, im just saying the chances of me getting caught are much less than they would be if I was on my dream bike (Honda ST1300). In fact, today, i saw AT LEAST  6 cops, and i think 3 or 4 were on motorcycles.  Those sneaky bastards, hiding in trees and such. Anyway, so the fact that I can ride it is exciting, and another awesome item is that it only takes like $10.00 to fill up, and thats topping it off. Even if i have to get gas like every 3-5 days, that's still less than half of what i was paying for my truck during school. The main thing now is finding my own helmet that i like the way it looks and I can afford, and, thats not almost as old as the Beast itself. I still haven't gotten pics of it, not that its beautiful or anything, but just so y'all can wave at me when we pass. Anyways, th-th-th-th-that's all folks.
